A creative label that fuses science and pop culture. Aiming at a new output that is neither literature nor academic conferences, we create works of imagination born from our research.
“Academimic” is currently working on various media such as illustrations, novels, music, and videos. His main activities include “Lombun Art Street,” a project to transform theses into art to be displayed in the city, “Neu World,” a sci-fi prototyping project with the Cabinet Office, and the “LaddART Project,” which uses science to interpret contemporary art.
Inspired by academic papers, the images are transformed into artworks as graphics and installations in collaboration with humans and AI.
What will these works, which have stepped out of the format of academic papers and academic conferences, bring to the cultural town “Shibuya”? By capturing the subjective impressions felt through contact with research in the works, the artist proposes a new culture between fiction and reality.”

MVMNT is promoting R&D that takes artists’ questions and curiosity as its starting point, and as the first step, we have released a social infodemics game “SNEEZE” together with artist and hacker Wataru Ishihara. SNEEZE brings back the community lost by the virus and creates a mysterious groove among those who share a common experience through unexpected and coincidental connections.
Through talk sessions and workshops, we will uncover the story behind the development of “SNEEZE”. We will also invite Mr. Stern Ren of Senspace as a guest speaker, and hold an open planning meeting for a new communication event in Shibuya, while delving deeper into the method of propagating to people through the power of storytelling.
