About SHIBUYA CREATIVE TECH COMMITTEE
The SHIBUYA CREATIVE TECH Committee was established to elevate Shibuya’s 150-plus cultural and entertainment venues as integral components of the city’s cultural heritage. Its mission extends to endorsing initiatives integrating cutting-edge technologies like Web3 and AI, to enhance their allure on national and global fronts, consequently revitalizing culture, tourism, and industry.
In addition to the official event DIG SHIBUYA, we’re boosting Shibuya’s creative industry by inviting international art and tech events. This effort aims to elevate Shibuya’s creative scene and create and promote opportunities for residents and visitors to experience art and the latest technology casually.

Ownership and privacy of data
DIG SHIBUYA emphasizes the importance of users taking ownership of their own data and respecting their privacy.
Avoid unauthorized access to other people’s data and invasion of privacy.

About Participatory Budgeting
Participatory Artist Support Project
In order to support artist collectives participating in DIG SHIBUYA, we will be matching your donations with subsidies from the organizers to support the artist collectives. During the event period, please view the artists’ works and donate to the project you want to support. The organizers will provide subsidies to the artists in a matching format according to your donations and votes.
This project uses a technology-based distribution system called quadratic funding.
In addition, the matching subsidy this time is also being funded by a grant program called Catalyst run by Cardano, a blockchain non-profit organization.
