The Unmanned Orchestra arrives at DIG SHIBUYA! As its name suggests, there are no performers. Professional orchestral music, recorded in 128-channel multitrack, is reconstructed through 24 speakers. Visitors can walk among the speakers, listening closely to individual instruments or stepping back to experience the whole sound. In a special version, participants wearing speakers parade through Shibuya, becoming part of the orchestra. This creates a new, open musical experience where everyone can encounter and enjoy music together.
