Tourism, which has become the second largest export industry after the automobile industry, is also an important industry for Shibuya. Using digital tools, we will support the growth of local businesses through inbound tourism and conduct experimental projects aimed at resolving tourism issues such as overtourism. Local businesses and startups will collaborate to explore the potential of tourism-related technologies such as duty-free systems, nanny matching services, and digital tourist maps. In addition to conducting demonstrations, this project will also utilize data obtained through various initiatives in future tourism projects.
